Hall Hire
Please note, the clubhouse hall can only be hired by club members.
The booking member must also be present during the event.
The board of management have made a change to the procedure for paying the refundable deposit for reserving the main hall for private functions. Applicants will be required to pay the £50 refundable deposit into the Club's account by bank transfer at the time when the application is approved in principle by the Board. The deposit will be returned the week following the function. Applicants will no longer be able to deposit cash behind the bar. Bank details are contained in the Private Functions Guidelines which accompany the Application Form.
Application forms are available in the magazine holder in the main hall adjacent to the free-standing noticeboard. The form was also sent out by email to all members in March 2024. The form can be completed electronically and emailed to the club secretary, Walter Kilgour, or it can be printed/filled in and delivered to the clubhouse. If this causes you any difficulty please get in touch with a Committee or Board Member who will be happy to help.
Please note that during the bowing season especially, the use of the main hall for sporting purposes will take priority. As a result, social events may not be possible, or may require later access for function preparation than might otherwise be available. It may be useful to contact the club secretary in advance if you are considering making an application, especially during April to September.
